Arbovirus releases first track of fourth album

Arbovirus has made a smashing return to the spotlight with the release of their new track "Purono Thikana", the first single from their much-anticipated fourth studio album, "Nikhoj Shongbad".
The song premiered yesterday on the band's official YouTube channel under Infected Records, igniting excitement across the Bangladeshi rock music scene.
"Purono Thikana" marks a nostalgic return to the band's old-school sound, much to the delight of long-time fans. Netizens have been abuzz with praise for the track, which reunites the original lineup: Asif Asgar (Ranjan) on guitars and lyrics, Ahmed Aldnane Alam on bass, Nafeez Al Amin on drums, and Sufi Maverick on vocals.
The track's visualiser, created by Alex Unai, perfectly complements the moody and atmospheric tone of the music. The artwork and design, led by Khalid Ahsan with concept direction from Asif Asgar, underscore the band's attention to creative detail. Audio mixing and mastering were handled by sound engineer Iqbal Asif Jewel.
In 2022, Arbovirus's vocalist Sufi Maverick suddenly announced his exit from the band. Even before that, the band's other three members — Asif Asgar Ranjan (founding member, guitarist, and lyricist), Nafis Al Amin (drummer), and Ahmed Aldnane Alam (guitarist) — were already living abroad. Fans were disappointed by the breakup of this popular band.
