Marking the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9), Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) organised their 16th Anti-Corruption Cartoon Exhibition and Competition, as a part of their anti-corruption social movement.

Currently living in Seattle, Rubaiat completed his undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. He is a senior research scientist at Adobe Research by profession and an artist by passion.

In a major boost to bilateral security cooperation, Bangladesh 'hands over' Ulfa leader Anup Chetia to India. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan denied it initially, but said later that Chetia was 'freed' as he expressed his desire to leave the country on completion of his jail term.
