Rangpur district unit vice president of BNP and former lawmaker Paritosh Chakrabarty resigned on Wednesday. Paritosh, also the president of Badarganj upazila unit of the party, resigned, citing health grounds. In a press release, he said he submitted his resignation letter to Emdadul Haq Bhorsha, president of the district unit of BNP. Emdadul was not available over phone for his comment on the issue.
