20 Indian workers at Rampal power plant test Covid-19 positive

Twenty Indian workers at Rampal coal-fired thermal power plant in Bagerhat have tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours.
They were kept in isolation under the authorities of the power plant under Bangladesh-India Friendship Power Company Ltd, our Bagerhat correspondent reports quoting Civil Surgeon of Bagerhat Dr KM Humayun Kabir.
The power plant authorities have ensured their isolation in accordance with proper hygiene rules, Civil Surgeon Kabir.
Meanwhile, 22 more people have contracted the coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the district.
On the second day of the strict lockdown, public gatherings were seen at different places, including Falpatti, Sadhanar Moar and Rahater Moar in Bagerhat.
There are police check posts in most of the key areas, including Bagerhat Daratana Bridge Toll Plaza and Dashani, to check whether people follow the restrictions.
