A two-day International Sylhet Festival 2017 will kick off today at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Jalalabad Association, Dhaka, is organising the festival which already completed its one session in the capital on Friday and Saturday.

The festival, featuring seven seminars, and discussion with youths, cultural programmes, and documentary screening, aims to showcase the brotherhood of the people of Sylhet and generating new ideas for the region's development. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will inaugurate the festival at 10:00am.
