Today is the 35th death anniversary of former chief justice Syed AB Mahmud Husain.

He died in 1982 at the age of 65. He was the chief justice of Bangladesh from 1975 to 1978, said a press release.

To mark the day, Chief Justice Syed AB Mahmud Husain Smrity Sangsad will hold a doa mahfil in the auditorium of Supreme Court Bar Association at 4:00pm today. Friends, relatives and admirers are requested to attend.
