Plastic goods maker RFL yesterday launched a water purifier called "Drinkit" to ensure pure water at an affordable price, says a press release.

"Drinkit gives complete protection from germs, bacteria, virus, rust fluid, sediment, turbidity and heavy metal through a four-stage water purification process," said SM Arafatur Rahman, head of marketing at RFL Plastics.

Actress Moushumi, the brand ambassador of RFL, unveiled the product at DC Hill in Chittagong city. Arafatur Rahman said Drinkit water purification element was designed and developed by Netherlands' nano-technology, and one purifier kit could purify 7,000 litres water or provide a two years' service. A cultural show was also held.
