Two modern corvettes, built in China, would be added to Bangladesh Navy's fleet by the end of this December, said Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib yesterday.

Building of two more corvettes is underway and the force will become a three-dimensional naval force as two submarines will be added to it by 2016, the Navy chief told journalists after witnessing the concluding day of  the 15-day annual sea exercise "Samudro Ghurni-2015".
