Zakir Ahmed Khan and Dr Zafar Uddin Ahmed have been elected as president and general secretary of Salimullah Muslim Hall Alumni Association of Dhaka University respectively.

They were elected for the tenure of 2019-2021 at conference held at Officers’ Club auditorium on Baily Road in Dhaka on Saturday, said a press release.

A 55-member executive body was formed in the conference, the release added.

The association also accorded a reception to seven of its members for their outstanding achievement in different sectors.
