Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University Bill, 2019 was passed in parliament today aimed at creating a scope of expanding higher education, research, modern knowledge practice on aviation.

Education Minister Dipu Moni placed the bill in parliament which was passed by voice votes.

While placing the bill, the education minister said the proposed legislature will help establish the Aviation and Aerospace University in the country which would create an opportunity for the people to receive higher education, research and modern education practice on Aviation at the national, regional and international level.

Earlier, the parliamentary body on the related ministry recommended passage of the bill unanimously in parliament.
