Journalist Hasanuzzaman passes away

Hasanuzzaman Khan, former managing editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died of a cardiac arrest at a hospital in the capital yesterday. He was 90.
Khan left behind his wife, a daughter, and two sons.
His body will be kept at Jatiya Press Club after Zohr prayers today, says a press release. After a namaj-e-janaza, he will be buried at Mirpur Martyred Intellectuals' Graveyard.
Khan was born in Keraniganj of Dhaka on September 5, 1926. In his 60-year journalism career, he worked in Azad, Swadhinata, Pakistan Observer, New Nation, Bangladesh Today, and Financial Express newspapers. He received the Ekushey Padak for journalism.
