Former ambassadors of Bangladesh have expressed concern over the disappearance of Maroof Zaman, ex-Bangladesh ambassador to Vietnam.

They also hoped that the authorities concerned would do everything possible to find Maroof and ensure his safe return to his family.

They were addressing the annual general meeting of Association of Former BCS (FA) Ambassadors (AOFA) held in the capital on Saturday, according to a letter forwarded to The Daily Star yesterday by the victim's family. Maroof has been missing since he left his Dhanmondi residence on December 4.
