Col Abney Ain Maruf Saklain, a member of Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (RAOWA) and a former MP, died on Tuesday at his residence, aged 73, says a press release.

His first namaz-e-janaza was held at 3:30pm in front of the parliament building (South Plaza) and the second one at Mohakhali DOHS Mosque after the Asr prayers the same day.

Later, he was buried at Army Graveyard.

His qulkhwani will be held at the mosque after the Asr prayers today.
