Former National Museum director and Fine Arts' artist Anwarul Haque Piaru died due to lung cancer on Tuesday at his Banani residence. He was 75.

He left behind his wife and two sons. He was buried in Azimpur graveyard yesterday.

His qulkhwani will be held tomorrow after the Asr prayers at his Banani residence.

Anwarul donated his eyes before death.
