CCC logo: Boat symbol replaced with Shapla

Six months after the fall of the Awami government, the party's symbol has been removed from the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) logo. Instead, the national flower, Shapla (water lily), has been incorporated.
From now on, the CCC logo will feature this new design with the Shapla flower.
The change was announced through a post on CCC's official Facebook page at 10:17am. However, the old logo (which included the boat symbol) is still displayed at CCC's Wikipedia page.
Sheikh Muhammad Touhidul Islam, the chief executive officer of CCC, confirmed the update.
He told The Daily Star, "After taking office, the mayor instructed us to change the logo. As a result, the boat symbol has been removed, and the national flower, Shapla, has been added. This morning, an image of the new logo was uploaded on CCC's Facebook page."
"The old logo is still present in some places, but within a couple of days, it will be completely replaced," he added.
