On September 17, an official certificate handover ceremony was held at Dr Muhammad QudratI-Khuda Auditorium in Dhanmondi Campus of Oxford International School (OIS). The school received accreditation as Bangladesh's First ever ISO 21001:2018 certified school for Educational Organisations - Management System for Educational Organisations. ISO 21001 is a Management System Standard developed by International Organisation for Standardisation and focuses specifically on elevating a successful interaction between an educational organisation, the learners, customers, and other relevant interested parties. It produces a precise framework intending to enhance the satisfaction level of learners, the other beneficiaries, and staff. Oxford International School's Director Tooba Arbab, CEO Mohammad Abu Kayes Jahadi and Principal Dr M Nurun Nabi, received the ISO Certificate on behalf of the school. Honourable Mr Md. Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin), current Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10, attended the certificate handover ceremony as the Chief Guest. Special Guest Major General Abdur Rahman, OSP, ndc, psc graced the auspicious occasion with his presence. The chief guest congratulated OIS for its historic achievement as Bangladesh's first ever school to receive ISO certificate. "OIS receiving ISO 21001:2018 certainly puts Bangladesh on the world map as the country's pioneer in terms of quality education management system", he quoted. In his speech, OIS Principal Dr M Nurun Nabi said "The strong ideals of OIS brought the institution this milestone certification. Complying the globally recognised ISO 21001 standards, now we are able to provide educational services in a more effective and efficient manner". On achieving the milestone, OIS CEO said, "ISO certification is OIS's gift to its service providers and recipient teachers, students, parents, whose highest level of satisfaction is of utmost importance, and for which all the hard work put in for the certification is dedicated".
