MIDAS Financing Limited yesterday approved 2.5 percent stock dividend for 2018.

The decision was taken at the company’s 23rd annual general meeting (AGM) at MFL Convention Centre at MIDAS Centre in Dhaka yesterday.

The meeting was presided over by the company’s Chairman Mohammed Nasir Uddin Chowdhury.

The company’s board members Rokia A Rahman, M Hafizuddin Khan, Abdul Karim, Md Shamsul Alam, Ghulam Rahman and AKM Kamruzzaman were present at meeting.

Mustafizur Rahman, managing director, and Md Abdul Wadud, company secretary, and a large number of shareholders as well as officers and staff of the company also attended the meeting.

All agendas of the AGM including directors’ report, audited financial statement and auditor’s report were approved at the meeting, says a statement.
