Genex Infosys’s profit up 13.8% in January-March

Genex Infosys Limited made a Tk 8.57 crore profit in the third quarter of the current financial year, an increase of 13.80 per cent from a year earlier.
The business process management and IT services company posted a Tk 7.53 crore profit in the January-March quarter of 2021-22.
The consolidated earnings per share were Tk 0.74 in January-March of 2022-23 against Tk 0.65 in the same quarter a year earlier, according to the unaudited financial statements.
The IT firm registered a profit of Tk 38.22 crore in the July-March quarter of FY23, up 4.1 per cent from Tk 36.71 crore it reported during the same period a year ago.
Thus, its consolidated EPS was Tk 3.30 in the three quarters. It was Tk 3.17 in the nine-month period of FY22.
Genex Infosys's consolidated net operating cash flow per share improved to Tk 4.94 from Tk 3.43 during the period.
The consolidated net asset value per share was Tk 19.12 on March 31 this year and Tk 16.53 on June 30 last year.
The company was set up in 2012. In 2019, Genex became the first publicly listed company in the country's IT-enabled services sector.
It has more than 4,000 employees and manages over 170 million customer interactions a year, according to its website.
Shares of the company declined 1.87 per cent to Tk 94.70 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange yesterday.
