Stocks rose slightly in early trading today, rebounding from yesterday's loss.  

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 4.82 points or 0.09 percent to 5,258.61 as of 11:44 am.

Trading activity was positive as 232 issues advanced, 91 declined and 65 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 209.32 crore.

Shares of Aramit Cement surged the most, 10 percent, while shares of  Midland Bank dropped the most, 5 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was down 0.04 percent, losing 7.07 points to 14,676.12.
