Stocks rose in early trading today, continuing its gaining streak for the six days in a row.   

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 12.46 points or 0.24 percent to 5,182.53 as of 11:10 am. 

Investor sentiment was apparently positive as 216 issues advanced, 94 declined, and 69 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 125.96 crore. 

Shares of Metro Spinning surged the highest 10 percent, while shares of Renwick Jajneswar & Co (Bd) Ltd dropped 4 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.19 percent, gaining 28.01 points to 14,470.18.
