Dhaka stocks fall, snapping six-day rally

Dhaka stocks fell today, breaking a six-day rally and the turnover also dropped compared to the previous session.
The DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), lost 13.29 points, or 0.25 percent, to close at 5,165.88.
Among the traded securities, 92 advanced, 240 declined, and 63 remained unchanged.
Turnover fell 13 percent to Tk 374.10 crore.
The Shariah-based DSES index dropped 0.37 percent to 1,143.54 points, while the blue-chip DS30 index edged down 0.05 percent to 1,911.84.
Power Grid Company of Bangladesh topped the gainers' list, rising 10 percent, while Khulna Printing & Packaging suffered the biggest drop, falling over 7 percent.
