Stocks slumped in the first hour of trading today, following the previous session's losses.

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 3.10 points or 0.05 percent to 5200.09 as of 11:06 am.

Some 94 issues advanced, 165 declined, and 105 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 129.92 crore.

Shares of Intech surged the most, 9 percent, while shares of Midland Bank dropped the most, 9 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.03 percent, gaining 4.66 points to 14,548.43.
