Stocks edged up in the morning trade today following gains of the previous four consecutive sessions.  

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 26.56 points or 0.51 percent to 5,173.90 as of 11:12 am. 

Investor momentum was largely positive as around 248 issues advanced, 71 declined, and 68 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 152.54 crore. 

Shares of Energypac Power Generation surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of Renwick Jajneswar & Co (Bd) Ltd dropped 5 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.10 percent, gaining 15.32 points to 14,422.10.
