bKash wins Best Brand award for third time in a row

Leading mobile financial service provider bKash has won the Best Brand award for the third time in a row that was given depending on the results of a consumer survey conducted by the Bangladesh Brand Forum (BBF).

Following the success of 2019 and 2020, bKash retained its position as the overall best brand among top 102 brands across 35 categories.

At the same time, the company has been selected as the 'Most Loved Brand' under mobile financial services category for the fifth time in a row.

This recognition reflects that bKash has ensured freedom and empowerment in millions of daily transactions in just a decade, fostering financial inclusion ‍as a whole.

BBF in partnership with NielsenIQ and in association with The Daily Star organised the 13th 'Best Brand Award 2021' in the capital on December 29.

The Bangladesh Brand Forum honoured the most loved brands who have achieved customers' trust and acceptability through tough and effortful initiatives.

The survey was conducted by Nielsen's world-class survey method 'Winning BrandsTM'. This time, 8,000 consumers across the country participated in the survey.

Faruque Hassan, president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), and Russell T Ahmed, newly elected president of Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), handed over the 'Best Brand Award-2021' to Ashraf Bari, executive vice present and head of brand at bKash.

Moinuddin Mohammed Rahgir, chief financial officer of bKash; Mohammed Ferdous Yusuf, chief human resources officer; Ali Ahmmed, chief commercial officer, and Mahfuz Sadique, chief communications officer, were also present on the occasion.
