Two cousins died after lightning hit them in the front yard of their house in Feni. The incident happened around 10:30am today.

The deceased are Md Al Amin (6) and Tamanna Akhter (15) of Alampur village under Bagadana union in Sonagazi upazila of Feni, reports our correspondent quoting Sonagazi Police Officer-in-Charge Sajedul Islam Palash.

Sajedul Islam said, Tamanna, daughter of Md Soleman, and Al Amin, son of Bahar Ullah, were struck by lightning in their yard today while moving from one house to another. Later, their families took them to Sonagazi Upazila Health Complex, where the on duty doctor declared them dead.
