Duronto Television’s 10th season kicks off today
Marking their 10th season, Duronto Television will introduce three new programmes and four new cartoon serials today.
The channel, along with Save the Children, produced Shwapnoghuri, a new series, which will air every Friday and Saturday at 2 pm and 9:30 pm from January 17. The series tells the story of a group of teachers called ‘Shwapnoghuri’. It is produced by Monirul Hossain Shipon and written by Rantik Bipu.

The third season of Golpo Sheshe Ghumer Deshe has a new look and new tales. Focused on bedtime stories, this series features a star-studded cast, including Asaduzzaman Noor, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Sarker Apu, Dr Ezaz, Tropa Mazumder, Aparna Ghosh, Manoj Pramanik, Ahsan Habib Nasim, Shatabdi Wadud, Moutushi Biswas, Kazi Nawshaba Ahmed and Momena Chowdhury. Produced by Fahima Ahmed Chaiti, with a screenplay by Alok Basu, the series will air every day at 9 pm.
Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri and Shiku will introduce new stories on Sisimpur this season. The immensely popular returning show will air every day at 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm, starting from today.
The Garfield Show, a cartoon series about a lazy cat, will air from Sunday to Thursday at 9 am, 1:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Conni, another cartoon series, focuses on the five-year-old girl, Conni, and her adventures. It will be televised every Friday and Saturday, from January 17, at 9 am, 1:30 pm, and 7:30 pm.
The new cartoon series, The Magic Roundabout, tells the story of Florence and her friends on a quest to find three magic diamonds. It will air from Sunday to Thursday at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, starting from today. The adventures of some ninjas will be presented in Mini Ninjas from January 17, every Friday and Saturday at 8:30 am and 2:30 pm.
Mastermind Family Bangladesh,Nacher Ishkul, Khatta Mitha, Duronto Shomoy, Ma Babai Shera, Moner Jadukor and Shonar Kathi Rupar Kathi are few of the returning programmes. Moreover, Sweet Little Monsters,Heidi,Dragon Hunters,Eena Meena Deeka, The Jungle Book,Crafty Kids Club,Guess What,Lucas & Emily,Ozie Boo! Save The Planet and Tree Fu Tom will continue this season.
