A new TV series titled “Meghe Dhaka SHohor” airs on ATN Bangla tonight, at 8:30pm. Written by Rudra Mahfuz and directed by Sakhawat Manik, it casts Abul Hayat, Dolly Zahur, Dr. Enamul Haque, Shampa Reza, Apurbo, Urmila, Sazu Khadem, Nayeem, Tania Hossain, Lutfur Rahman George, Azmeri Haque Badhan and Dr. Ejaz.

The story of the play revolves around a joint family that has kept up to its traditions at times of familial nuclearisation in the mechanical city of Dhaka. Mr. Rashid lives with his wife, four sons and three daughters-in-law in the house, who all have their own perspectives of life, dreams and wishes.
