“Lal Sobujer Sur” a Liberation War film based on Faridur Reza Sagar's story will premiere on Channel i today at3:30pm. The national grant-winning film is directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar and stars Omar Sani, Subrata, Shera Zaman, Rafiqullah Selim, Jhuna Chowdhury, and child actors Mahi and Likhon.

The narrative focuses on the horrific events following the genocide attacks on March 25, 1971. Emon flees Dhaka with his parents to take shelter in a village. There he meets Badal, whose parents were murdered by the Pakistan army in Dhaka. Swearing vengeance, Badal joins the training for Freedom Fighters, followed by Emon. In a sad turn of events, Emon's parents are killed by the Pakistan Army along with the other village residents, after which he is taken in by a Freedom Fighter.
