After eight long months, theatre troupe Prangonemor will stage their popular production "Irsha" at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy today at 7pm. Written by eminent litterateur Syed Shamsul Haq, the lyrical play is directed by Ananta Hira.

The play sheds lights on the struggles and conflicts between man and man, art and art or even artist and artist. The play also depicts the complications in human relationships in an abstract way. The dialogues in the play are not confined to any particular pattern and articulate the ethereal beauties of rural Bengal aside from highlighting the spirit of the Liberation War.

However, what makes this play unique is that the 100-minute drama has only seven dialogues with the longest one being 36-minutes long while the shortest one is about 16 minutes.

Nuna Afroze, Ramiz Raju and Ananta Hira play the key role in the play.  The stage, music and lights have been done respectively by Shahinur Rahman, Jillur Rahman and Ramiz Raju.
