The shooting of the thriller film, Operation Sundarban, started yesterday in Satkhira. The Dipankar Dipon directorial features Siam Ahmed and Nusraat Faria as the slead pair, along with Riaz and Taskeen Rahman in significant roles.

Although the shooting kicked off yesterday, Siam will start shooting for his part from today. Based on true events, the movie depicts the RAB facing challenges while evicting the pirates in Sundarban, and how they succeed in the operation. “We had to learn the techniques used by the RAB and their practical limitations while running an operation, which was very tough and challenging,” shared Siam. “It was also very important to study the characters  that we will portray.”

The cast of the film also includes Ziaul Roshan, Manoj Kumar, Fahmida Sabina, Dipu Imam and Ehsanur Rahman, among others.The film is expected to release during the forthcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
