A joint production of TVwala media team (Kolkata) and Prekkhagreho (Dhaka) -- Shahrear Polock directorial Dure Thaka Kacher Manush was recently released online. The short film features Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Kolkata based actor Vikram Chatterjee as the leads.

The story depicts a man reliving his past relations during a 14 days home quarantine, after returning to Kolkata from London.

According to a press release, this production is made to facilitate the fund raising initiative to support the daily wageworkers of the film industry in both Dhaka and Kolkata, and because of that, none of the cast and crew of the film took remuneration for this short film. Dure Thaka Kacher Manush was shot while maintaining all lockdown parameters.
