To commemorate Rabindranath Tagore's 160th Birth Anniversary, Dhroopad, a Bengali American cultural organization based in Washington DC, is releasing a music video featuring legendary Rabindra Sangeet exponent Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya and elocutionist Samiul Islam Poluck.

The presentation will be a compilation of Tagore's famous song "Keno Chokher Jole Bhijiye Dilem Na" with the poem "Oshombhob" from his Sanai Kabya. Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya's extremely mellifluous voice and matchless melodies put soul into the song, while Poluck recites the poem.

The creative presentation has been conceptualized and planned by Hiron Chowdhury. Amzad Hussain has arranged the audio, and the video has been directed by Yamin Elan.

 "The concept of God, the Almighty, as well as Tagore's quintessential celebration of spirituality, is expressed with new, enriched dimensions, meanings, and nuances in all the lyrics of his songs in the 'Puja' parjaay of Geetabitan," says Bannya. "Life is much greater than just the sum of all our pains and pathos and knowing this gives us courage & fills us with the audacity to look beyond and embrace the unimaginable abundance! I believe our presentation will definitely please the ears of our listeners."
