Renowned film actor Shahin Alam passed away at a hospital in the capital last night.

Shahin Alam breathed his last at Asgar Ali Hospital around 10:00pm, his son Fahim Noor e Alam and Bangladesh Cholochitro Shilpi Samity General Secretary Zayed Khan told The Daily Star.

The actor was admitted to the hospital after he fell sick with severe kidney problems and he was on life support since March 6.
