With an objective to discover new talents in Bangla folk music, the third season of Magic Bauliana is coming soon on Maasranga Television. The third season was announced at a press conference on Wednesday. The contest, which is open to all, is initiated by Sun Foundation and sponsored by Square Toiletries Limited.

The Chairman of Sun Foundation, Managing Director of Maasranga Television and Square Toiletries Ltd, Anjan Chowdhury, Head of Operations of Square Toiletries Ltd, Malik Mohammed Sayeed, and other dignitaries were present at the press conference.

The registration process for the contest is currently underway and will run till September 26. The audition round will take place in Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Kushtia and Mymensingh.

A grooming session will be conducted with the selected participants for the main contest. Shofi Mondol, Dr Nashid Kamal and Chandana Majumdar will be the judges of the show. The top three participants will be the winners. They will perform along with popular local and international folk artistes at the Dhaka International Folk Fest.

The creative and event partner of the show is Mediacom Limited. Radio Din Raat is the radio partner and Bishwo Rang is the wardrobe partner. The media partner of the show is Kalerkantha and online media partner is BanglaNews24.
