Popular streaming platform Hoichoi's original web series, Ekattor, will release on March 26. The first look and official trailer of the series were unveiled during a press conference at The Daily Star Centre today. The cast members and their respective characters on the show were also introduced at the event, hosted by Hoichoi Bangladesh Business Lead Sakib R Khan. Some of the cast members, including Nusrat Imrose Tisha, Mostafa Monwar, Iresh Zaker, Mostafizur Noor Imran and Rafiath Rashid Mithila were present at the programme. The series also features Tariq Anam Khan and Shatabdi Wadud in pivotal roles.

Directed by Tanim Noor, Ekattor tells the story of Operation Blitz, which never came to light. The book, A stranger in my own country, by Major General (Retd.) Khadim Hussain Raja, introduces readers to this operation.

"Although based on true events, this series is a work of fiction. It tells the story of a few ordinary people's extraordinary transformations in a time of need," said Tanim Noor, during the conference.
