Directed by Mostafizur Rahman, Ei Shob Din Ratri, is one of the most popular TV series of the country. The highly acclaimed show won the hearts of millions in Bangladesh when it was first aired.

Ei Shob Din Ratri is written by legendary writer and director Humayun Ahmed. It first aired on BTV in 1985. After more than three decades, the series returns to the channel from today.

The show is about a middle-class family and their daily struggles. Bulbul Ahmed, Khaled Khan, Nayar Sultana Lopa, Abul Khair, Shilpi Sarker Apu, Enamul Haque, Dolly Johur, Lutfun Nahar Lata, Asaduzzaman Noor, Dilara Zaman and Masud Ali Khan among others are the actors in the series.

BTV also recently reran Humayun Ahmed's Kothao Keu Nei and Bohubrihi.  Ei Shob Din Ratri will air every day at 9 pm on BTV, starting from today.
