On the 100th birth anniversary of poet Talim Hossain, a poetry recitation programme is being held today at 5 pm at the main auditorium of Bangladesh National Museum.

The welcome speech will be delivered by Shahriar Chowdhury. Dr Anisuzzaman will be chief guest of the event, presided over by Dr Rafiqul Islam. Renowned personalities in the field of Bangla Literature will talk about the celebrated poet. The speakers of the event will include poet Asad Chowdhury, children's writer Ali Imam, poet Mohammad Nurul Huda and poet Jahanara Arzu among others. The event will also include poetry recitations and a cultural programme.
