Founded by Selim Al Deen, Bangladesh Gram Theatre is one of the most prominent theatre groups in the country. Apart from staging pays, they have always worked for the benefit of the greater good at crucial times. The President of Bangladesh Gram Theatre, Nasiruddin Yousuff, recently took the initiative to help out underprivileged communities during this time of crisis.

He has been staying in Dhamrai for the last ten days, and distributing aid to the destitute families of different villages. The residents have been helping him to make a list of families that are financially struggling. The families are being provided with rice, potatoes, onions, oil, salt and other necessities.

Bangladesh Gram Theatre plans to expand their initiative to 25 districts, including Rajshahi, Natore, Cumilla and Gaibandha among others.
