Razak Khan passes away

Veteran Indian actor Razak Khan, who was well-known for his comic timing, passed away yesterday afternoon in Mumbai, following a cardiac arrest. The actor was rushed to the Holy Family Hospital in Bandra, but the doctors declared him brought dead. 

Razak, who made his debut in 1993 with a film called “Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raaja”, and went on to work with almost every Bollywood A-lister in a two-decade career. Some of his noteworthy roles are Manikchand in Shahrukh Khan-starrer “Badshaah”, Ninja Chacha in Salman Khan's “Hello Brother”, Babu Bisleri in “Hungama” and as Popat in the three films of the “Kya Kool Hai Hum” series, the last of which, released this year, remains his final screen appearance. 

Members of the Hindi film fraternity have been paying tributes to their long-time colleague on the social media.
