Noted singer Shaheen Samad is all set to launch four new albums today, all of them featuring Nazrul Sangeet of various flavours. The ceremony, to be held today at the Chhayanaut auditorium, will also see the artiste perform live.

The albums, titled “Nana Borner Nazrul”, “Ontore Tumi”, “Allah Te Je Paite Chaye” and “Duur Azan'er Modhur Dhwoni” (the latter two featuring Ham'd and Na't), are being released under the banner of Laser Vision.

Eminent personalities Professor Emeritus Anisuzzaman, music exponent Azad Rahman, artiste Ferdausi Rahman and Nazrul singer Khalid Hossain will launch the albums. Laser Vision Chairman AKM Arifur Rahman will chair the programme.

The albums come at a good time, with the National Poet's birth anniversary coming up in less than a week, and also Ramadan coming up soon when Islamic songs like Ham'd and Na't are in demand.
