Kamal Ahmed, a musician, media personnel and Director (Programme) of Bangladesh Betar, and promising singer Shahina Lota, recently performed in a concert held at Rajshahi District’s Shilpakala Academy auditorium.

Kamal Ahmed performed five solo songs: Shurer Bhubone Ami Ajo Pathochari, Ganeri Khatay Swaralipi, Ogo Mor Modhumita, Ami Saat Sagor Pari Diye and Tumi Kokhon Eshe Dariye Achho. Shahina Lata performed Phooler Kane Bhromor Eshe, Moner O Ronge Rangabo,Ogo Aar Kichuto Noy, Jare Jare Ure Jare Pakhi and Tandra Hara Nayan Amar.

Freedom fighter Professor Ruhul Amin was the chairperson of the programme. Professor Hasan Azizul Haq, who was awarded the Independence Award, spoke as the chief guest at the event. Special guests were scholars Amaresh Roy Chowdhury, former state minister and member of the Parliament Professor Zinatunnesa Talukdar, Dramatist Abdur Rashid, Educationalist Principal Shafiqur Rahman Badsha.
