To probe into the graft allegations over N95 mask, PPE and safety gear procurement at Central Medical Stores Depot (CMSD), the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has formed an inquiry committee.

Headed by an ACC Director Mir MdZainul Abedin Shebly, the four member committee will submit report to the commission for taking legal action, said Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, ACC's Public Relations Officer (PRO).

Other members are: deputy director Nurul Huda, assistant directors Saiduzzaman Nandan and Ataur Rahman.

ACC Chairman Iqbal Mahmood said masks and PPE are linked to the health security of doctors, nurses and health workers.

"The commission will unearth the truth and bring responsible persons to the book," he said.

Anyone found involved in the irregularities will be made accountable, Iqbal added.
