"Khunjey Berai" on ntv tonight

A single-episode TV play, Khunjey Berai will be aired tonight at 9:00pm. Written by Shatanu Biswas and directed by Kaushik Shankar Das, the play revolves around Shimul -- a naïve young man. Use of forceps during his birth affected Shimul's brain. Though his behaviour is often child-like, Shimul is loved by everyone in the family. One day he gets into an argument with his elder brother Shafiq. Short-tempered Shafiq tells Shimul to support himself from now on. A desperate Shimul joins his uncle's office, where he meets Ranu, a school teacher from a village. Soon they become good friends and Ranu inspires Shimul to move to the village with her. Apurbo, Sumaiya Shimu, Farhana Mithu, Zahid Hossain Shobhon and Jenny have played the central roles in Khunjey Berai.
