Lifetime Achievement Award for film personalities

Bangladesh Federation of Film Societies (BFFS) honoured three cultural personalities with Lifetime Achievement Awards as part of the 3rd International Film Festival, Bangladesh. The award-giving ceremony was held at the Sufia Kamal Auditorium, National Museum on March 5.Veteran actor Abdur Razzaque, music composer Anwar Parvez and singer Syed Abdul Hadi received the honours this year for their contribution to Bangladeshi cinema. Mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka, attended the event as chief guest. Among others, Azad Rahman, chairperson of BFFS attended the programme presided over by Enam Ahmed Chowdhury, chairperson of the Festival Committee. On behalf of Anwar Parvez, his wife Yasmeen Parvez received the award, as the musician has been seriously ill for quite a while. Actor Bapparaj received the award on behalf of his father, Abdur Razzaque.
