NCL resumes today after two months

Only a few national cricketers are expected to play when the Ispahani Seventh National Cricket League resume today at three venues after a two-month break.After the third round had ended on December 7, the country's first-class competition took a long break to accommodate the Premier Cricket League fixtures. Khulna will be the most benefited when they take on league leaders Dhaka in the one-day game at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium as dashing right-hander Tushar Imran and ace pacer Mashrafee Bin Mortuza were given the permission to play for their divisional side. Chittagong will get a Nafees Iqbal boost in their match against Rajshahi at the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. Sylhet face lowly Barisal at the Barisal Divisional Stadium in the other match with national paceman Tapash Baisya expected to play the four-day game for the visitors. Dhaka dominate the four-day table securing 14 points while they are sharing the lead in the one-day table along with Rajshahi with six points each.
