Haripur fatwa

It is good to hear that the so-called fatwa in Haripur has been strongly resisted by common people. However, I have some points to make.

The resistance to this fatwa did not come from the intention to protect womens' rights. Rather, it was intended to preserve the shop owners' rights. Since it is ultimately some men who will end up losers, they are trying to resist the fatwa.

We never saw such resistance when a raped female child got the verdict of lashing!
