'Earn people's confidence through dev activities'

Agriculture Minister M K Anwar yesterday called upon the opposition parties to make efforts to earn the confidence and trust of common people by taking part in development activities.He said this while addressing a workshop on "Anti-country propaganda goes against human rights" at National Press Club in the city, an official handout said. The Bangladesh Human Rights Survey Committee and the Weekly Manobadhikar Report jointly organised the workshop. Chairman of Human Rights Survey Committee Talukder A Razzak presided over the event, while Advisor to the Commerce Ministry Barkat Ullah Bulu, Barrister Rowshan Ali, Engineer Faruk Alam, Hasan Farid and Nazrul Islam Mollah addressed among others.
