Anan hammered a half-century as Motijheel Govt High School beat Kurmitola High School by eight wickets to clinch the title of the Mohammedan Dhaka Metropolis Inter-School Cricket Tournament at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium yesterday.Batting first Kurmitola scored 163 for 9 in the stipulated 40 overs with Mahfuz Alam making the team highest 56. Rasool picked up four wickets for 26 for the Motijheel team. In reply, Anan showed the way as Motijheel Govt easily posted 164 for 2 in 28.3 overs. Anan was adjudged man of the match for his 73-ball 67.
