IFIC Cup golf held

Brig Gen Md Sharif Uddin and Fatima Matiur won the respective men's and ladies' titles of the IFIC Cup Golf Tournament that ended yesterday at the picturesque Kurmitola Golf Club. The two-day competition attracted 303 participants including 15 lady golfers. President of the KGC and Chief of Army Staff by Lt Gen Hasan Mashhud Chowdhury teed-off the meet. Rear Admiral Shah Iqbal Mujtaba, Chief of Naval Staff and Air Vice Marshal Fakhrul Azam, Chief of Air Staff were also present on the occasion. On the final day, the KGC president gave away prizes to the winners in a colourful ceremony that was attended by Manzurul Islam, chairman and Ataul Haq, managing director of IFIC Bank Limited respectively.
