Kenyan v Kenyan in Premier Div cricket today

It will be a battle of two Kenyans when Mohammedan Sporting Club take on Brothers Union in a crucial Green Delta Premier Cricket League match at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium today.

Kenyan all-rounder Thomas Odoyo arrived in the capital yesterday and signed for Brothers, who lost their first match to Young Pegasus but won their second against Uttara Sporting Club.

The 26-year-old right-arm pacer and a hard-hitting batsman Odoyo, who has played 63 one-day internationals for the ICC associate member country, is expected to replace Brothers' Indian international Thiru Kumaran.

On the other hand, title aspirants Mohammedan have already been bolstered by their good old Kenyan recruit Steve Tikolo, whose bat has started blazing.

The Motijheel outfit will come to the game with a perfect record as they beat lowly opponents Orient Sporting Club and Indira Road KC in their previous matches.

Abahani will face Uttara Sporting Club at BKSP while City Club, reeling under two successive losses, meet Young Pegasus in the day's other third round match at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
